Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0353578A1] The lamp consists of a liquid container (FB) made of plastic and of a mounted metal holder (MH) for receiving the wick (D). The metal holder (MH) is mounted or pressed to the liquid container (FB), and the lamp is thus produced as a one-way lamp. In order to improve the optical impression, it is surrounded by a decorative shell (ZH) which also covers the metal holder (MH). The lamp remains transportable even after use has commenced, and is protected against spillage when not in use, since a covering jacket can be screwed onto the metal holder (MH) by means of a thread. It covers the wick (D) and the ventilation holes arranged therearound. <IMAGE>
