[origin: US4958783A] A cable or wire guide for a system for guiding a cable or wire (1) onto a drum or reel, the guide being characterized in that it comprises two rollers (9, 10) disposed on either side of the normal advance axis of the cable or wire, the rollers being carried at the ends of two symmetrical rocker arms (16, 18) rocking about fixed shafts (17, 19) disposed symmetrically about the advance axis, the rocker arms being connected to each other at the above-mentioned ends by means of a spring (15) urging the ends towards each other, and being hinged at their opposite ends (21, 24) to symmetrical correcting rods (20, 23) hinged to the head (7) of a rectangular slide (26) engaged with a small amount of play in a slideway (27) of width slightly greater than the width of the slide, such that the rollers bear against the cable to guide it even if the cable is angularly offset relative to its normal advance axis, while nevertheless allowing the rollers to move apart from each ther whenever the cable present a diameter defect (3).

L'invention est relative à un guide-câble ou guide-fil pour dispositif de trancanage. Elle a pour objet un guide-câble ou guide-fil pour dispositif de trancanage d'un câble ou d'un fil (1) sur un touret, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend deux rouleaux (9, 10) disposés de part et d'autre de l'axe d'avance normal du câble ou fil, portés à l'extrémité de deux biellettes (16, 18) symétriques pivotant autour d'axes fixes (17, 19) symétriques par rapport à cet axe d'avance, ces biellettes étant reliées à ces extrémités l'une à l'autre par un ressort (15) de rappel de l'une vers l'autre, et articulées par leur autre extrémité (21, 24) à des biellettes symétriques de liaison (20, 23) articulées avec la tête (7) d'un coulisseau rectangulaire (26) engagé avec un léger jeu dans une glissière (26) de largeur légèrement supérieure à la largeur du coulisseau, de sorte que les rouleaux appuient sur le câble pour son guidage même s'il dévie angulairement par rapport à son axe d'avance normal, mais qu'ils s'écartent l'un de l'autre lorsque le câble présente un défaut (3) de diamètre.
