[origin: WO8902846A1] A hull for a high speed motor boat has a bow section of V-form having a hard stem (6) which merges into a keel (7). The keel is divided amidships into two hard keel after-sections (8, 9) which diverge in the sternward direction and between which is provided, on the underside of the hull, a tunnel (10) which is open at the stern and extends forwardly while tapering inwardly. The forward end of said tunnel may be determined by a bulkhead (11) at the after end of the forward hard keel section (7), and the tunnel may be vented to atmosphere through the hull, for example through the bulkhead (11).

Coque pour bateau à moteur rapide dont la partie de proue en forme de V comporte une étrave dure (6) se fondant dans une quille (7). La quille est divisée au milieu du bateau en deux parties arrière (8, 9) de quille dure, divergeant vers l'arrière, entre lesquelles est prévu, sur le dessous de la coque, un tunnel (10) ouvert à l'arrière et s'étendant vers l'avant tout en convergeant vers l'intérieur. L'extrémité avant dudit tunnel peut être définie par une cloison étanche (11) située à l'extrémité arrière de la partie de quille dure de l'avant (7), le tunnel pouvant communiquer avec l'atmosphère par la coque, par exemple par la cloison étanche (11).
