In the course of increasing measures to improve efficiency, automatic or semi-automatic coupling pieces are increasingly being used on board ship to connect containers. It may occur, in such cases, that if coupling pieces are non-functional, there may be an unnoticed absence or inadequacy of the connection between containers. In order to prevent this, the invention proposes that the coupling pieces be provided with indicator tongues (28) which are reciprocally movable as a function of the position of their cross-bracket (15, 16). As a result it can be ascertained by reference to the position of the indicator tongues, after loading of the containers, whether the cross-brackets (15, 16) are in the desired locking position. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Im Zuge zunehmender Rationalisierungsmaßnahmen werden zum Verbinden von Containern an Bord von Schiffen zunehmend automatische oder halbautomatische Kuppelstücke eingesetzt. Hier kann es vorkommen, daß bei nicht funktionierenden Kuppelstücken unbemerkt keine bzw. keine ausreichende Verbindung der Container zustande kommt. Um dieses zu verhindern schlägt die Erfindung vor, die Kuppelstücke mit in Abhängigkeit von der Stellung ihrer Querriegel (15, 16) hin- und herbewegbare Anzeigezungen (28) zu versehen. Dadurch kann anhand der Position der Anzeigezungen nach dem Verladen der Container festgestellt werden, ob die Querriegel (15, 16) sich in der gewünschten Verriegelungsposition befinden.
