Cylindrical tap selector for step-down transformers in which fixed step contacts (2) are seated in at least one plane in the wall of an insulating material cylinder (1). A contact bridge (6) is provided for each plane, the inner end of which brushes against a contact ring (4) lying in the same plane which is arranged around a tubular operating shaft (3) made of insulating material guiding the contact bridge. The contact ring (4) is seated here on a ring (8) made of insulating material arranged around the operating shaft (3) and is locked to the latter by means of a plurality of dogs (9). The insulating material ring (8) is carried by at least three struts (10) made of insulating material which are supported on the wall of the insulating material cylinder (1). <IMAGE>

Zylindrischer Stufenwähler für Stufentransformatoren, bei dem feststehende Stufenkontakte (2) in mindestens einer Ebene in der Wand eines Isolierstoffzylinders (1) sitzen. Für jede Ebene ist eine Kontaktbrücke (6) vorgesehen, deren inneres Ende an einem in derselben Ebene liegenden Kontaktring (4) schleift, der um eine die Kontaktbrücke führende rohrförmige Schaltwelle (3) aus Isolierstoff angeordnet ist. Der Kontaktring (4) sitzt hierbei auf einem um die Schaltwelle (3) herum angeordneten Ring (8) aus Isolierstoff und ist mittels mehrerer Nocken (9) mit diesem verrastet. Der Isolierstoffring (8) wird von wenigestens drei Streben (10) aus Isolierstoff, die sich an der Wand des Isolierstoffzylinders (1) abstützen, getragen.
