A suction-type synchronous feeding apparatus for a carding machine, consisting of a feed roller and of a troughed plate interacting with this, which deliver a fibre lap to a licker-in, and of a suction channel which extends over the entire length of the troughed plate or the entire axial length of the licker-in and which exerts suction at the point of transfer of the fibre lap from the troughed plate or feed roller to the licker-in in order to remove dirt, is characterised in that the suction channel consists of a tube (27) which extends over at least essentially the entire axial length of the licker-in and to one end of which a suction source can be connected, and of a supply channel (34) extending from the transfer point to the tube and opening tangentially into the tube (27) over at least essentially the entire axial length of the licker-in (11). <IMAGE>

Eine abgesaugte Gleichlaufspeisevorrichtung für eine Karde, bestehend aus einer Speisewalze und einer damit zusammenwirkenden Muldenplatte, welche eine Faserwatte einem Briseur zuführen, und einem Absaugkanal, der sich über die gesamte Länge der Muldenplatte bzw. die gesamte axiale Länge des Briseurs erstreckt und die Übergabestelle der Faserwatte von der Muldenplatte bzw. Speisewalze an den Briseur zwecks Schmutzentfernung absaugt, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß der Absaugkanal aus einem sich über zumindest im wesentlichen die gesamte axiale Länge des Briseurs erstreckenden Rohr (27), an dessen einem Ende eine Saugquelle anschließbar ist, und aus einem von der Übergabestelle zum Rohr verlaufenden Zuführkanal (34) besteht, der über zumindest im wesentlichen die gesamte axiale Länge des Briseurs (11) tangential in das Rohr (27) einmündet.
