Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH0281623A] PURPOSE: To be equipped with tool pair at substantially the same working positions with a most simple structure by carrying tool bodies in a tool immovable state, and coupling one regulating spindle only by one joint. CONSTITUTION: A mount 11 adapted to a guide rail 9 is provided on an upper surface of a tool body 5. Several, for example, two tools 12, 12' are attached to the body 5. The tool may be used for both slitting and/or grooving machine. When both are slitting or grooving machine, one of the tools can be replaced. The tools 12, 12' are driven by parallel drive shafts 13, 13' with the tools 12, 12' in an axially slidable and impossible to rotate state. Therefore, lengthwise keyways 10 are dug on the shafts 13, l3', and wedges 10' are engaged. To position the tools 12, 12' at target positions, for example, a straightly passed regulating spindle 14 is provided. Any body 5 is attached with the controllable joint 15 at its upper side.
