The invention of a "multicontact plug device, especially a multicontact appliance plug device, consisting of an appliance plug and/or an appliance socket, for electro-trucks, batteries or loading machines, as well as a plug connector assembly therefrom, provided with voltage coding means and at least a further coding, particularly for dry and/or wet cell batteries" relates to a plug device having a device for coding the type of the appliances to be connected, such as vehicle motor, vehicle battery and loading device therefor, in which prismatic coding pins (5, 19) can be inserted into the appliance plug (3) and the appliance socket (2), and can be fixed there in a support piece (13) with their outer hexagonal or octagonal section (4, 12) in specific angular positions in accordance with the voltage coding. Towards their free end, the coding pins extend in each case into fitting pieces (8, 9) with approximately half the cross-section in comparison to the outer hexagonal or octagonal section, as a result of which a plugging over of the plugs and sockets is only possible if the coding pins are of corresponding design in both plug devices and are aligned in the appropriate angular position. For producing a plug connector assembly having a voltage coding and at least one further mandatory coding, particularly for dry or wet cell batteries or their loading machines, the plug devices (2, 3) therefore can be provided according to the invention optionally with at least two types of coding pins (5, 19). Die Erfindung "Mehrpolige Steckvorrichtung, insbesondere einer aus einem Gerätestecker und/oder einer Geräte-Steckdose bestehenden mehrpoligen Geräte-Steckvorrichtung für Elektro-Flurförderzeuge, Batterien oder Ladegeräte, sowie Steckverbindersatz daraus, mit Spannungscodierung und zumindest einer weiteren Codierung, insbesondere für Trocken- und/oder Naßbatterien" betrifft eine Steckvorrichtung mit einer Vorrichtung zur Codierung der Art der zu verbindenden Geräte, wie Fahrzeugmotor, Fahrzeugbatterie und Ladegerät dafür, wobei in den Gerätestecker (3) und die -dose (2) prismatische Codierstifte (5, 19) einsetzbar und dort in einem Lagerstück (13) mit ihren äußerem Sechs- oder Achtkantabschnitt (4, 12) in bestimmte Winkelstellungen entsprechend der Spannungs-Codierung festlegbar sind. Zu ihrem freien Ende hin laufen die Codierstifte jeweils in Paßstücke (8, 9) mit gegenüber dem äußeren Sechskant- bzw. Achtkantabschnitt etwa halbiertem Querschnitt aus, wobei eine Übersteckung der Stecker und Dosen nur dann möglich ist, wenn in beiden Steckvorrichtungen die Codierstifte entsprechend ausgebildet und in der entsprechenden Winkelstellung ausgerichtet sind. Zur Schaffung eines Steckverbindersatzes mit einer Spannungs-Codierung und zumindest einer weiteren zwangsweisen Codierung insbesondere von Trocken- oder Naßbatterien bzw. deren Ladegeräte sind die Steckvorrichtungen (2, 3) dafür erfindungsgemäß wahlweise mit mindestens zwei Arten von Codierstiften (5, 19) versehbar. Die Paßstücke (8) der 1. Art sind dabei seitlich eines durch den Sechs- oder Achtkantabschnitt (4) gelegten mittigen, von den Mitten zweier gegenüberliegenden Seitenflächen verlaufenden Halbschnittes angelegt, während die Paßstücke (9) der 2. Art gegenüber der Führungsfläche (15) der ersten Paßstückart (8) um einen Anstellwinkel im Bereich zwischen 0° - 60° bzw. bis 45° gedreht sind. Gemäß einer zweiten Lösung sind die Paßstücke auf ihren inneren Führungsflächen nicht glatt und eben ausgebildet, sondern mit einer "Schlüsselnormung" mit Nut und Feder.
