[origin: EP0355514A2] Radioactive evaporator concentrates from nuclear plants are conditioned for ultimate disposal in heatable ultimate storage containers. For this purpose 60 to 85% by weight of dry matter content is firstly concentrated in an evaporator, and then water vapour is extracted in the ultimate storage vessel at a temperature which corresponds at least to the maximum temperature occurring in the ultimate repository until solid bottoms with a smooth surface are produced. <IMAGE>
