The dipped vehicle headlamp has a frame consisting of sheet metal, which carries a convex lens. The lens is inserted from the light exit side into an opening in a surface of the frame, and fastened on the frame by first and second retaining lugs, which are cut out from the outer edge of the surface of the frame accommodating the lens and are bent over to point towards the centre of the lens. The second retaining lugs are cut free from the first retaining lug and each has a bend line which are spaced from the tangent of the lens rim and extend parallel thereto. In this arrangement, the bend line of the first retaining lugs has a larger spacing from the lens rim than the bend line of the second retaining lugs. After the retaining lugs have been bent over, the second retaining lugs bear against the outside of the first retaining lugs with a force so large that the first retaining lugs bear with their free end with a sufficiently large force on the lens rim. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Der abgeblendete Fahrzeugscheinwerfer weist ein aus Blech bestehendes Gestell (11) auf, welches eine konvexe Linse (2) trägt. Die Linse ist von der Lichtaustrittsseite her in eine öffnung einer Fläche (13) des Gestells eingesetzt und durch erste und zweite Haltelappen (16, 17), welche aus dem äußeren Rand der die Linse aufnehmenen Fläche (13) des Gestells ausgeschnitten und zum Linsenzentrum zuweisend umgebogen sind, an dem Gestell festgesetzt. Die zweiten Haltelappen (17) sind aus dem ersten Haltelappen (16) freigeschnitten und weisen jeweils eine Biegelinie auf, welche einen Abstand zu einer Tangente des Linsenrandes aufweisen und zu dieser parallel verlaufen. Hierbei weist die Biegelinie der ersten Haltelappen (16) einen größeren Abstand zum Linsenrand auf als die Biegelinie der zweiten Haltelappen (17). Nach dem Umbiegen der Haltelappen liegen die zweiten Haltelappen (17) an der Außenseite der ersten Haltelappen (16) mit einer so großen Kraft an, daß die ersten Haltelappen (16) mit ihrem freien Ende mit einer ausreichend großen Kraft an dem Linsenrand anliegen.
