The device serves for the making of ice grains for grain-blasting devices. A carrier has a cooling surface, on which liquid particles harden to form ice. The ice is then separated. The aim is to manufacture the ice grains separated from one another respectively with high dimensional accuracy. To this end, a drop former is used, which is arranged above the cooling surface. Die Vorrichtung dient zum Herstellen von Eiskörnern für Strahlputzgeräte. Ein Träger (18) weist eine Kühlfläche (20) auf, auf der Flüssigkeitspartikel zu Eis erstarren. Das Eis wird anschließend abgelöst. Ziel ist es, die Eiskörner jeweils getrennt voneinander mit hoher Maßhaltigkeit herzustellen. Zu diesem Zweck wird ein Tropfenbildner (17) verwendet, der über der Kühlfläche (20) angeordnet ist. Die Eis-Ablöseeinrichtung (19) weist eine zur Kühlfläche (20) parallele Abstreifkante (21) auf. Sie (21) liegt auf der Kühlfläche (20) auf.
