The invention relates to a container arranged to be unloaded by gravity, especially where it concerns the bulk transport of easily caking material. It is characterised: - on the one hand in that each unloading opening (7) is delimited at least by longitudinal edges (13) and by transverse edges (14) and extends essentially across the entire transverse dimension of the base (8) of the container (1) and across at least one given selected position of its longitudinal dimension and, - on the other hand in that the longitudinal (5) and transverse (6) walls of the container diverge from the top (10) of the container towards its base (8) to each connect essentially directly to one of the longitudinal (13) or transverse (14) edges of the unloading opening (7). L'invention se rapporte à un réceptacle déchargeable par gravité notamment en vue du transport en vrac d'un matériau ayant tendance à s'agglomérer. Il est caractérisé : - d'une part, en ce que chaque orifice de déchargement (7) est délimité au moins par des bords longitudinaux (13) et par des bords transversaux (14) et s'étend sensiblement sur toute la dimension transversale de la base (8) du réceptacle (1) et sur au moins une certaine position choisie de sa dimension longitudinal et, - d'autre part, en ce que les parois longitudinales (5) et transversales (6) du réceptacle divergent depuis le sommet (10) du réceptacle vers sa base (8) pour se raccorder chacune sensiblement directement à l'un des bords longitudinaux (13) ou transversaux (14) de l'orifice (7) de déchargement. Application à l'industrie ferroviaire.
