This cylinder is characterised in that it comprises a first inner tubular sleeve (2) designed to interact with a supporting shaft and a second outer tubular sleeve (3) which is arranged around the first and is coaxial relative to this and the outer surface of which is designed for receiving a working coating, the two sleeves being connected by means of at least one radial spacer (4), and in that the first and second inner and outer tubular sleeves and the said at least one radial spacer are made of fibre-reinforced resin. <IMAGE>

Ce cylindre est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un premier manchon tubulaire interne (2) adapté pour coopérer avec un arbre de support et un second manchon tubulaire externe (3) disposé autour du premier et coaxial à celui-ci, dont la surface extérieure est adaptée pour recevoir un revêtement de travail, les deux manchons étant reliés par au moins une entretoise radiale (4), et en ce que les premier et second manchons tubulaires interne et externe et ladite au moins une entretoise radiale, sont en résine renforcée de fibres.
