Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0356400A2] An upper part (10) is pivotably connected to a lower part (9) via outer (12) and inner (14) articulation means. A straight line (e), which connects the articulation means, forms an angle ( alpha ) with a straight line (b) which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (a') of the shoe, the outer articulation means (12) being arranged displaced towards the toe of the shoe and the inner articulation means (14) towards the heel of the shoe. By means of this arrangement of articulation means, the upper part (10) can be inclined forwards and inwards at an angle, in relation to the lower part (9), in the direction of the straight line (d). The knee of a wearer moves in the same direction (d), when he changes his forward lean. In this case, by means of the sports shoe (5) according to the invention, neither is there edging of the sole nor are pressure points created on the inner side of the lower leg of the wearer by the upper part (10) of the shoe. <IMAGE>
