A detection by animals such as Canidae and insects (cockroaches, bees and butterflies) can be used; odorant substances will consist particularly of substances which may be detected specifically and spontaneously by an animal at extremely low threshold values ( alpha -ionone for Canidae) or pheromonal (sexual or warning) substances which modify the behaviour of an animal placed at a distance.
