Reclining furniture (20) such as a chair, seat or bed of the type comprising a back-rest (21) and a seat (22), each delimited by a rigid frame (21,22) and in which the frame (22) of the seat is fixed and articulated (20)(33,34) in a rigid support chassis (30) which forms the base, characterised: - in that the rigid frames defining the back-rest (21) and the seat (22) are delimited by open tubes, arranged face to face in such a manner that the free ends of the said tubes are opposite; - in that the said opposite free ends are interconnected in pairs by an elastic sleeve (23,24); - in that the lateral tubes delimiting the frame (21) of the back-rest have means of positioning (21,22;38,39,40) on the chassis (30) so that the back-rest (21) is inclined in relation to the seat (22). <IMAGE>

Meuble de repos (20) tel que chaise, siège, lit, du type comprenant un dossier (21) et une assise (22), délimités chacun par un cadre rigide (21, 22) et dans lequel le cadre (22) de l'assise est fixé et articulé (20) (33, 34) dans un chassis (30) support rigide formant pied, caractérisé : - en ce que les cadres rigides définissant le dossier (21) et l'assise (22) sont délimités par des tubes ouverts, disposés face à face, de manière à ce que les extrémités libres desdits tubes soient en regard ; - en ce que lesdites extrémités libres en regard sont raccordées entre elles deux à deux par un manchon (23, 24) élastique ; - en ce que les tubes latéraux délimitant le cadre (21) du dossier présentent des moyens de positionnement (21, 22 ; 38, 39, 40) sur le chassis (30), de manière à ce que le dossier (21) soit incliné par rapport à l'assise (22).
