The inner surface of the tube (12) according to said invention is corrugated (28) and the cleaning element (1) is designed as a hollow scrubbing brush (2) with, on its upper side, an inlet stub (11) for the tube (12) at the level of the connection (6) with the handle (8), and outlet openings (13) on its lower side, between rows of bristles arranged on the external edges (17, 18, 19, 20) of the hollow scrubbing brush (2), whereby a distribution plate (14), covering the scrubbing surface (3) provided with the outlet openings (13), and extending as far as the rows of bristles, is arranged below the outlet openings (13), at a certain distance from the scrubbing surface (3).

Eine Vorrichtung zum Aufbringen eines flüssigen Reinigungsmittels auf einen Teppich, bestehend aus einem an der Unterseite beborsteten und an der Oberseite eine Kupplung (7) für einen Stiel (8, 8 a) aufweisenden Bürstenkörper (1) sowie dem Stiel (8, 8 a) und einem an dem Schrubberstiel (8, 8 a) angeordneten Reinigungsmittelbehälter (17, 18), dessen Auslaß (23) eine flüssigkeitsleitende Verbindung zu dem Bürstenkörper (1) aufweist, in welcher ein Dosierventil angeordnet ist, läßt sich hinsichtlich ihres technischen Aufbaues dadurch vereinfachen, und hinsichtlich der Vergleichmäßigung des Auftrages der Reinigungsflussigkeit auf den Teppich dadurch verbessern, daß der Bürstenkörper (1) ein Hohlschrubber (2) mit oberseitigem Zulaufstutzen (6, 24) zur Ankopplung der flüssigkeitsleitenden Verbindung und unterseitigen Auslaßöffnungen (12) ist und daß das Dosierventil ein einfacher, von Hand betätigbarer Dosierhahn (22) ist, der in unmittelbarer Nähe unterhalb des Auslasses (23) des Reinigungsmittelbehälters (17, 18) in der flüssigkeitsleitenden Verbindung angeordnet und betätigbar ist und daß die Auslaßöffnungen (12) derart angeordnet sind, daß die Reinigungsflüssigkeit über die Beborstung (4) abläuft.
