[origin: WO8907016A1] An inert gas nozzle (6) and a gas inlet channel (10) for inert gas are arranged concentrically around a spray nozzle (5). The inert gas nozzle (6) has a hollow core (26) with a curved terminal surface (9) at the rear end (8) of the nozzle (6). The terminal surface (9) of the hollow core (26) and hence the inert gas nozzle (6), together with the gas inlet channel (10) and the opposite wall (13), form a nozzle channel (14) which extends, at first radially and then approximately parallel, between the gas inlet channel (10) and the hollow core (26).
