[origin: EP0357895A2] The invention relates to gutters which can be joined together for ground drainage. The object of permanently sealing the gutter sections (1, 2) to be joined together at the junction points is achieved by the fact that the front ends are prepared for the introduction of elastomeric sealing elements (5). The sealing element is preferably an elastically solidifying sealing compound (5), which is introduced into a groove. For better adhesion of the sealing compound, at least the contact surfaces (3, 4) of the sealing compound are dipped into or coated with an impregnating agent. Sealing compounds composed of two components can be accommodated in the front ends and caused to react at the moment of assembly. The elastomeric seals also withstand subsidence and displacement of the gutter sections. <IMAGE>
