An equilibrating device for a gun, especially a heavy-calibre gun, with a part (1) pivotable in elevation, carrying the gun barrel and mounted in a fixed stand (2) via a trunnion (1.1). The equilibrating device possesses a torsion-bar spring (4) which is arranged parallel to the axis of rotation of the trunnion (1.1) in front of the trunnion in the firing direction and underneath the pivotable part (1) of the gun and the first end (4.0) of which is connected fixedly in terms of rotation to the stand, whilst the second end (4.1) is connected to the pivotable part (1) of the gun via a lever mechanism (4.2, 4.3). By an appropriate design of the lever mechanism (4.2, 4.3), the torque counteracting the unbalance moment can be varied and consequently the characteristic of the equilibrating device matched to the unbalance curve of the gun elevation. <IMAGE>

Eine Unbalance-Ausgleichsvorrichtung für eine Waffenanlage, insbesondere bei einer schweren Waffe, mit einem in Elevationsrichtung schwenkbaren, das Waffenrohr tragenden Teil (1), der über einen Schildzapfen (1.1) in einem festen Gestell (2) gelagert ist. Die Unbalance-Ausgleichsvorrichtung besitzt eine parallel zur Drehachse des Schildzapfens (1.1) in Schußrichtung vor dem Schildzapfen und unterhalb des schwenkbaren Teils (1) der Waffe angeordnete Drehstabfeder (4), deren erstes Ende (4.0) drehfest mit dem Gestell verbunden ist, während das zweite Ende (4.1) über ein Hebelgetriebe (4.2, 4.3) mit dem schwenkbaren Teil (1) der Waffe verbunden ist. Durch entsprechende Auslegung des Hebelgetriebes (4.2, 4.3) kann das dem Unbalance-Moment entgegenwirkende Drehmoment variiert und damit die Kennlinie der Ausgleichsvorrichtung an die Unbalance-Kurve der Waffenelevation angepaßt werden.
