Abstract (en)
[origin: JPH02261702A] PURPOSE: To achieve compactness in a lifting and tilting device for a garbage collector by coupling an upper link of a quadrangle link mechanism to a rotation drive unit to transmit force, and forming a back hinge lever rotatably installed on the drive unit as a support arm to be applied to a stopper member at a starting position. CONSTITUTION: A lifting and tilting device 10 is composed of a lifting and tilting frame 13, an upper link 14, a lower link 15, and a support arm 16 to form a quadrangle link, and it is coupled with a rotation drive unit 17 to transmit force. As the quandrangle link mechanism is folded to be suspended, the rotation drive unit 17 is driven to raise the lifting and tilting frame 13, and it is rotated along circular tracks 47, 48 to hold a garbage container 30. By further rotation, the quadrangle link mechanism is rotated along the tracks 47, 49, the container 30 is tilted into collection container 12 to discharge garbage. It returns to an original position along inverse tracks. In this constitution, compactness of the device 10 can be achieved.
