[origin: JPH02261762A] PURPOSE: To increase processing ability, and fold a tabloid into a smaller format after cutting by providing a carrying means to simultaneously carry printed products of a cluster on the downstream side of a removal station. CONSTITUTION: In a carrying conversion means, two starting products are removed at a removal station 19. Next, on the downstream side of the removal station 19, the starting products are simultaneously carried by carrying means 36-45, 50, 51 as a cluster 2, and processes of cutting, jointing, folding, or page trimming are applied. As a result, a tabloid can be folded to a smaller format after cutting.

Die Erfindung ermöglicht eine kostengünstige und flexible Weiterverarbeitung von Tabloiden zu kleinerformatigen Zwei- und Mehrfalzen. In mindestens einer Förder-Konversionseinrichtung mit je mindestens einer Entnahmestelle (19', 19", 19‴) werden vorzugsweise gleichzeitig mehrere Ausgangsprodukte entnommen. Diese werden im folgenden parallel als Cluster weiter bearbeitet. Die Cluster werden mittels Fördermitteln (36-46, 50, 51) gemeinsam transportiert und jeweils sämtliche Druckprodukte eines Clusters (2) gleichzeitig bearbeitet. Das Verfahren und die Vorrichtung besitzen auch bei umfangreichen Druckprodukten eine grundsätzlich nach oben offene Verarbeitungskapazität.
