[origin: WO8908180A1] A clamp for sun-screens is composed of first and second clamping means (1, 2) that form each a clamping flange (5, 7) and that are held together by guiding means (8, 11). A threaded spindle (3) draws together the clamping flanges (5, 7). Spindle mounts (9, 12) link the spindle to both clamping means (1, 2). The spindle mount (9) on the first clamping means (1) has a threaded bore (10) and the spindle mount (12) on the other clamping means (2) has a longitudinal bearing (13). A cap (4) has not only decorative purposes, but also holds together the various elements and supports the spindle (3).
