[origin: JPH0285194A] PURPOSE: To surely open the screw closures of different diameters and to prevent the failure of the screw closures by forming a roughened surface on a spring steel strip which engages internally on a side wall, and is fixed to only one part of the side wall. CONSTITUTION: Two converging side walls 2a, 2b are projected from a base 1 in the use position, and interconnected at the ends where they have their maximum spacing by an approximately semicircular side wall 2c. A spring steel strip is extended from a fixing point 5 on the side wall 2b to the other converging side wall 2a opposite to the fixing point 5 through the side wall 2c. As a result of the spring action, the spring steel strip 3 is firmly engaged with the side walls. The spring steel strip forms a roughened surface by providing the knife-edge perforation 4 like a grater for cooking. When a screw closure is to be opened, it is rotated in the rotating direction R, whereby the both sides of the spring steel strip are engaged with the screw closure to be opened, and grasp the same. Accordingly the torque can be transmitted to a comparatively large area. A closure is pressed as mentioned in the above, the failure of the closure can be prevented.

Der Drehöffner und -verschließer für Schrauben und insbesonderefür Schraubverschlüssen auf Gläsern, Flaschen und dergleichen, weist zwei in Gebrauchslage senkrecht zu der Drehebene liegende, konvergierende Seitenwände (2a, 2b) auf, die an den Enden, an denen sie ihren größten Abstand haben, durch eine ungefähr halbkreisförmige Seitenwand (2c) miteinander verbunden sind. An einer Seitenwand, vorzugsweise angrenzend an das Ende, das dem der halbkreisförmigen Seitenwand entfernt liegt, ist innen ein Federstahlband (3) mit einer aufgerauhten Oberfläche 4 befestigt (Befestigungsstelle 5). Dieses Federstahlband liegt innen an dieser Seitenwand (2b), an der sich anschließenden halbkreisförmigen Seitenwand (2c) und an der gegenüberliegenden Seitenwand (2a) an. Hierdurch steht ein großer Bereich zum Ergreifen des zu öffnenden Schraubverschlusses zur Verfügung, so daß dieser nicht an einer Stelle zu stark beansprucht und dadurch beschädigt wird. Unter Berücksichtigung der Öffnungsrichtung R, ist die Befestigungsstelle (5) so anzuordnen, daß das Federstahlband sowohl beim Öffnen als auch beim Verschließen auf Zug beansprucht wird, d.h. der Drehöffner und -verschließer muß entsprechend um 180° gedreht werden, wenn er von einem Öffner zu einem Verschließer werden soll.
