There is provided a coated hand-iron sole plate which preferably consists of an aluminium alloy and the corrosion-preventing coating of which, preferably consisting of a hard nickel alloy, has an extremely scratch-resistant, easily slideable and easily cleanable surface. The coating is preferably applied by a high-velocity flame-spraying process and is subsequently preferably ground and polished by a drag-grinding process. <IMAGE>

Es wird eine vorzugsweise aus einer Aluminiumlegierung bestehende, beschichtete Bügeleisensohle angegeben, deren vorzugsweise aus einer Nickel-Hartlegierung bestehende, korrosionsverhindernde Beschichtung eine äußerst kratzfeste, gut gleit- fähige und leicht zu reinigende Oberfläche aufweist. Die Be- schichtung wird vorzugsweise durch ein Hochgeschwindigkeits-Flammspritzverfahren aufgebracht und anschließend vorzugsweise durch ein Schlepp-Schleifverfahren geschliffen und poliert.
