[origin: EP0358971A2] The invention relates to an espagnolette with drivers displaceable as a result of the rotation of the latch or the like and with a follower (6) which is assigned to the latch and which, held in its basic middle position, is pivotable out of this in opposite directions counter to a spring load, the follower (6) being assigned an actuating arm (20) engaging on a slide (38) which is under the effect of a compression spring (37). For the purpose of spatially favourable accommodation of the components bringing the follower (6) into its basic middle position, whilst at the same time ensuring a sufficient spring force, the invention provides a coupling pin (25) placed against the actuating arm (20) by means of the compression spring (37) and located between the actuating arm and an auxiliary slide (30) intersecting the slide (38), the coupling pin (25) clamping the claw-shaped end (23) of the actuating arm (20) against the end face (42) of the slide (38). <IMAGE>
