Louvres for light fittings serve as a mask for the light-emitting surface and as an anti-glare device in the case of elongated light fittings, and are known in several embodiments. They are mostly composed of two or more longitudinal webs and a multiplicity of thin cross-slats. With regard to specular louvres in particular, this assembly requires a substantial, overwhelmingly manual expenditure. The aim is therefore to indicate a method to enable high quality specular louvres to be produced and assembled in a largely automatic fashion. Using the method, annularly self-closed, parabolically curved louvre chambers (5) are formed as individual components which are subsequently joined to one another on a holding device (6), being juxtaposed to form several rows. A louvre for a light fitting produced in this way is suitable in particular for masking the light-emitting surface of elongated light fittings. <IMAGE>

Leuchtenraster dienen als Abdeckung der Lichtaustrittsfläche sowie als Blendschutz bei Langfeldleuchten und sind in etlichen Ausführungsformen bekannt. Meist sind sie aus zwei oder mehr Längsstegen und einer Vielzahl von dünnen Querlamellen zusammengesetzt. Dieser Zusammenbau erfordert insbesondere bei Spiegelrastern einen erheblichen, überwiegend manuellen Aufwand. Es soll daher ein Verfahren aufgezeigt werden, um hochwertige Spiegelraster weitgehend automatisch fertigen und fügen zu können. Bei dem Verfahren werden in sich ringförmig geschlossene parabolisch gekrümmte Rasterkammern (5) als Einzelbauteile gebildet, die anschließend zu mehreren aneinandergereiht auf einer Halteeinrichtung (6) miteinander verbunden werden. Ein so hergestelltes Leuchtenraster eignet sich besonders zum Abdecken der Lichtaustrittsfläche von Langfeldleuchten.
