[origin: EP0359735A1] A waste heat boiler having a feed water container, which exercises the function of a steam collecting drum, preferably a low-pressure drum (12). The feed water container or the steam collecting drum, preferably a low-pressure drum (12) is connected via a condensate pump (20) to a condenser (19), and connected into a circulation system having at least one gravity pipe (28, 29), at least one heating surface (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) and at least one vertical-pipe (42), and possesses a water chamber as well as a steam chamber, by means of which the separation of the water/steam mixture into water and steam is undertaken. <IMAGE>
