A plug-and-socket connector (SV) allows a PC module (LP) with wired and surface-mounted components mounted, for example by hybrid techniques, both on the upper side (BS) conventionally reserved for the components and on the lower side (LS) conventionally reserved for soldering, to be inserted in a central position (III) in an insert socket (SEP, I, V) in a sub-rack. In one advantageous embodiment, the plug-and-socket connector comprises two shells (SV1, SV2). The contact pins (KSR1, KSR2, KSR3) of the connector and the PC module can be brought into electrically conductive contact by pressing or by surface mounting techniques.

Der erfindungsgemäße Steckverbinder (SV) ermöglicht eine mittige Lage (III) einer in einem Einbauplatz (SEP,I,V) eines Baugruppenträgers eingesetzten Flachbaugruppe (LP), welche sowohl auf der bisherigen Bauteileoberseite (BS) als auch auf der bisherigen Lötunterseite (LS) z.B. in Hybridbestückung mit bedrahteten und oberflächenmontierten Bauelementen ("SMD-Bauteilen") belegt ist. In einer vorteilhaften Ausführungsform ist der Steckverbinder zweischalig ausgeführt (SV1,SV2). Die Kontaktstifte (KSR1,KSR2, KSR3) des Steckverbinders können bevorzugt durch Verpressung bzw. wiederum in Oberflächenmontagetechnik mit der Flachbaugruppe elektrisch leitend kontaktiert werden.
