With a device for producing transport air for pneumatically conveyable media to be transported out of bulk containers, especially a transport air compressor to be carried on bulk transporters, the intention is to provide a solution with which lasting noise reduction during the operation of such transport-air compressors can be achieved. This is achieved by the fact that the compressor (6) is accommodated coaxially with an electric driving motor (3) in a closed housing (2) with an air intake opening (10) and an outlet pipe (8) for the transport air. <IMAGE>

Mit einer Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung von Förderluft für aus Silos zu transportierende, verblasbare Medien, insbesondere auf Silofahrzeugen mitführbarer Förderluftkompressor, soll eine Lösung geschaffen werden, mit der eine nachhaltige Lärmreduzierung bei Betrieb derartiger Förderluftkompressoren erreichbar ist. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß der Kompressor (6) einachsig mit einem Elektroantriebsmotor (3) in einem geschlossenen Gehäuse (2) mit einer Luftansaugöffung (10) und einer Austrittsleitung (8) für die Förderluft untergebracht ist.
