Abstract (en)

[origin: JPH02200823A] PURPOSE: To reduce waiting time and improve operating efficiency by calculating relationship among sliver length, can content, sliver traveling time and winding time of a full bobbin. CONSTITUTION: In the following bobbin replacement in a spinning part, a computer 28 calculates how many full bobbins can be wound within maximum spinning time capable of being given in a spinning part from maximum sliver length capable of being given and gives command for producing only bobbin number calculated to the spinning part based on the calculated result. Program after finishing spinning of a prescribed amount of sliver is written so as to carry out automatic detection of sliver length from production start of first bobbin of bobbin number for the spinning part.
