Abstract (en)
The combing machine contains at least one combing head with an oscillating gripper unit (10, 12), in which is mounted an intermittently rotatable delivery cylinder (14) for advancing the lap (W) to be combed in the combing head. For rotating the delivery cylinder (14) there is an electric motor (19) which is fed with drive pulses from a control device (20). In the control device (20), the sizes of the drive pulses and their phases relative to the movements of the gripper unit (10, 12) can be set. The angle through which the delivery cylinder (14) is rotated during a to-and-fro movement of the gripper unit (10, 12), and the moment of this rotation can therefore easily be adjusted continuously, even when the combing machine is running. Furthermore, regulation is possible if the angle through which the delivery cylinder (14) is rotated is so adjusted in the control device (20) by a regulator (50) that the titre, detected continuously by a sensor (51), of the combed strip provided by the combing head, always remains approximately constant. <IMAGE>

Die Kämmaschine enthält wenigstens einen Kämmkopf mit einem schwingenden Zangenaggregat (10, 12), in welchem ein intermittierend drehbarer Speisezylinder (14) zum Vorschieben der in dem Kämmkopf zu kämmenden Watte (W) gelagert ist. Zum Drehen des Speisezylinders (14) ist ein Elektromotor(19) angeordnet, der von einer Steuereinrichtung (20) mit Antriebsimpulsen gespeist ist. In der Steuereinrichtung (20) sind die Grössen der Antriebsimpulse und deren Phasen bezüglich der Bewegungen des Zangenaggregates (10, 12) einstellbar. Damit sind der Winkel, durch welchen der Speisezylinder (14) während einer Hin- und Herbewegung des Zangenaggregates (10, 12) gedreht wird, und der Zeitpunkt dieser Drehung leicht stufenlos einstellbar, sogar auch bei laufender Kämmaschine. Ferner ist eine Regelung möglich, wenn in der Steuereinrichtung (20) der Winkel, durch welchen der Speisezylinder (14) gedreht wird, von einem Regler (50) so verstellt wird, dass der von einem Fühler (51) laufend festgestellte Titer des vom Kämmkopf angegebenen Kammzugbandes stets etwa konstant bleibt.
