Bei einem Verschlußdeckel für die Füllöffnung (12) eines Kühlmittelbehälters (10) in Kfz-Kühlanlagen umfassend ein in die Füllöffnung (12) eingreifendes Deckelgehäuse (16, 24) mit einem den zu verschließenden Behälterraum mit der Außenluft verbindenden Kanal und ein Ventil (82, 84, 86, 88, 90, 98) zum Absperren desselben mit einer Ventilmembran (86), die mit einer Dichtfläche (84) unter der Kraft einer in Richtung der Kanalachse wirkenden und sich an einer gehäusefesten Fläche (92) abstützenden Feder (90) an einem den Kanal umgebenden Ventilsitz (82) anliegt und von diesem durch Überdruck in dem Behälterraum gegen die Federkraft abhebbar ist, ist der Ventilsitz (82) an einer in dem Deckelgehäuse (26) axial gegen die Kraft der Feder (90) verstellbaren Hülse (46) ausgebildet, die mit einer der Feder (90) abgewandten, mindestens annähernd achsnormalen Fläche (76) an einen Druckraum (116) angrenzt, der in der Schließstellung des Verschlußdeckels (14) gegenüber der Außenluft und dem Behälterraum abgeschlossen und mit der Saugseite einer das Kühlmittel in der Kühlanlage umwälzenden Kühlmittelpumpe verbindbar ist.
