The present invention relates to a door of the type comprising a frame (110) made from wood or the like, two panels (120, 122) fixed on either side of the frame, and an armouring metal sheet (130) embedded at the periphery in the inner faces of the frame. According to the invention, the door furthermore comprises reinforcing means consisting of profiled metal elements (150, 160) fixed to the frame and each comprising two essentially parallel and spaced flanges (150c, 150d; 160a, 160b) straddling the edges of the sheet (130) at least over a substantial part of its periphery. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne une porte du type comprenant un cadre (110) en bois ou analogue, deux panneaux (120, 122) fixés de part et d'autre du cadre et une tôle métallique de blindage (130) encastrée périphériquement dans les faces intérieures du cadre. Selon l'invention, elle comprend en outre des moyens de renfort constitués par des éléments métalliques profilés (150, 160) fixés au cadre et comportant chacun deux branches essentiellement parallèles et espacées (150c, 150d; 160a, 160b) venant chevaucher les bords de la tôle (130) au moins sur une partie substantielle de sa périphérie.
