[origin: EP0360782A2] Running gear for railway vehicles which has at least two wheel sets whose axle 5 is mounted in wheel-set bearings which are arranged in a wheel-set bearing housing 7. Provided in the connection between the wheel-set bearing housing 7 and the frame of the running gear is at least one, preferably annular, bush 11 which is equipped with an elastomeric element 14 and is provided with a device for changing the rigidity properties of the bush 11, e.g. as a function of the speed, rate of revolutions and/or the like of the railway vehicle. The elastomeric element 14 is vulcanized in place between two rings 12, 13 and has ring-sector-shaped recesses 15, 16 diametrically opposite one another. <IMAGE>
