[origin: EP0360783A2] Running gear for railway vehicles which has at least two wheel sets whose axles 5 are mounted in wheel-set bearings which are arranged in a wheel-set bearing housing 7. Provided in the connection between the wheel-set bearing housing and the frame of the running gear is at least one, preferably annular, bush 11 conveniently equipped with an elastomeric element 14. The elastomeric element 14 is vulcanized in place between two sleeves 12, 13 and has chambers 15, 16 diametrically opposite one another and ring-sector shaped in cross-section. The chambers 15, 16 can be connected to one another by an overflow channel 81 or to chambers of another bush. The cross-section of the overflow channel 81 or of the hydraulic or pneumatic connecting line between the bushes 11 can be adjusted by a control mechanism 80, a controllable valve, preferably a throttle-type valve, or the like. <IMAGE>
