Abstract (en)
In a ship, especially a sailing boat, the rudder is actuated by a steering wheel (1) and the motor drive is actuated by a drive control member (2). The steering wheel (1) is mounted on the stern side of a vertical steering column (4) in such a way as to be rotatable about a horizontal axis (3) parallel to the longitudinal axis of the ship. The drive control member (2) is also mounted on the steering column (4) in such a way as to be pivotable about a horizontal axis (5). For easier operational control, the drive control member (2) is arranged with its horizontal axis (5) in such a way as to coincide with the horizontal axis (3) of the steering wheel (1) on the stern side in front of the steering wheel (1). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei einem Schiff, insbesondere einer Segelyacht, werden das Ruder von einem Steuerrad 1 und der Motorantrieb von einem Antriebsschaltorgan (2) betätigt. Das Steuerrad (1) ist um eine zur Schiffslängsachse parallele Horizontalachse (3) verdrehbar an der Heckseite einer vertikalen Steuersäule (4) gelagert. Auch das Antriebsschaltorgan (2) ist um eine Horizontalachse (5) verschwenkbar an der Steuersäule (4) gelagert. Zur leichteren Bedienbarkeit ist das Antriebsschaltorgan (2) mit seiner Horizontalachse (5) mit der Horizontalachse (3) des Steuerrades (1) zusammenfallend heckseitig vor dem Steuerrad (1) angeordnet.
