[origin: EP0361105A1] In the feeding attachment, the periodically swivellable front markers (2) are driven by a non-lockable cam gear (6-10), in which only rigid members of the cam gear (6-10) are effective in the swivelling- away phase of the front markers (2). To lock the sheet feeder in the case of oblique sheets or faulty sheets, catcher hooks (13) are provided which can be moved into their catching position, independently of the cam gear (6-10) of the front markers (2), by a pneumatic short-stroke cylinder (17) which can be controlled by an electropneumatic quick-action solenoid valve (19) operating in dependence on a sheet control device.
