[origin: EP0361241A2] A three-position hand lever for a robot control is provided with a push button (T), which reliably triggers the following functions: push button (T) not pressed - stop function, push button (T) in centre position - release signal, push button (T) fully pressed - stop function. A contact arrangement (K, KS) is provided for this purpose which has a make contact (KS), which starting from a stop function in the case of non-actuation of the button (T), effects the release signal given a defined actuation, and which given spasmodic actuation moves the make contact (KS) back into the initial position via a mechanical deflection system (G, HE, ST). <IMAGE>
