The invention relates to a bridge-laying vehicle of the type having a chassis (1), two bridge elements (3, 4) disposed on this chassis and capable of forming a single-span bridge when assembled end to end, and means adapted in order to displace these bridge elements (3, 4) so as to position them end to end, assemble these bridge elements and deposit them at the front of the vehicle. According to the invention, the bridge elements (3, 4) comprise junction faces (3c, 4c) which are inclined so as to define a dihedron which is open towards the bottom when these bridge elements are positioned end to end. Moreover, the vehicle comprises pivoting means (13) adapted in order to cause the bridge elements (3, 4) to pivot relative to one another so as to place the inclined junction faces (3c, 4c) side by side and to obtain a bridge endowed with a camber, and assembling means adapted in order to lock these junction faces (3c, 4c) in the position of the bridge elements (3, 4) forming the camber. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un engin poseur de ponts du type comportant un châssis (1), deux travures (3, 4) disposées sur ce châssis et susceptibles de former un pont d'une travée une fois assemblées bout à bout, et des moyens adaptés pour déplacer ces travures (3, 4) de façon à les positionner bout à bout, assembler ces travures et les déposer à l'avant de l'engin. Selon l'invention, les travures (3, 4) comportent des faces de jonction (3c, 4c) inclinées de façon à définir und dièdre ouvert vers le bas lorsque ces travures sont positionnées bout à bout. En outre, l'engin comporte des moyens de pivotement (13) adaptés pour faire pivoter les travures (3, 4) l'une par rapport à l'autre de façon à accoler les faces de jonction inclinées (3c, 4c) et obtenir un pont doté d'une contre-flèche, et des moyens d'assemblage adaptés pour verrouiller ces faces de jonction (3c, 4c) dans la position des travures (3, 4) formant la contre-flèche.
