Abstract (en)
The gun, the barrel (1) of which comprises at least seven chambers, is characterised in that it possesses a rotary star shaft (11) of intermittent movement, coaxial relative to the barrel (1) and designed to be capable of gripping the cartridges and driving them in rotation one by one, whilst allowing them to move there in translational motion, a fixed helical ramp (14) interacting with the base of the cartridges to combine with their intermittent rotational movement an intermittent translational movement within the star shaft, to ensure that they are transported as far as the firing station in the respective barrel chambers, a slide (4) with an alternating translational movement controlled by means of gas to ensure the intermittent driving of the barrel in rotation and mechanical means for synchronising the rotational movements of the star shaft with those of the barrel. <IMAGE>

L'arme dont le barillet (1) comprend au moins sept chambres, est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend un arbre étoilé rotatif (11) à mouvement intermittent, coaxial au barillet (1) et agencé de façon à pouvoir saisir et entraîner en rotation les cartouches une par une, tout en leur permettant de s'y déplacer en translation, une rampe hélicoïdale fixe (14) coopérant avec le culot des cartouches pour combiner à leur mouvement de rotation intermittent un mouvement de translation intermittent à l'intérieur de l'arbre étoilé afin d'assurer leur transport jusqu'au poste de mise de feu dans les chambres respectives de barillet, un tiroir (4) à mouvement de translation alternatif commandé par emprunt de gaz pour assurer l'entraînement intermittent en rotation du barillet, et des moyens mécaniques pour synchroniser les mouvements de rotation de l'arbre étoilé à ceux du barillet.
