Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0362133A1] In a fluid machine for incompressible media with a delivery chamber (4) arranged in a fixed housing (1, 2) and formed in the manner of a circularly extending slot, a displacer (8) associated with the delivery chamber and likewise of circular design is held on a disc-shaped rotor (3) which can be driven eccentrically in relation to the housing. The displacer touches the inner and outer circumferential walls of the delivery chamber at at least one sealing line advancing continuously during operation and conveys the medium from an inlet (6) to an outlet (7). The inlet and the outlet are separated from one another by a web (5) extending radially in the delivery chamber (4). A cross-keyed coupling (9, 10) is provided for the purpose of guiding the displacer relative to the housing and, for the purpose of driving it in a circle, a wobble rod (12) is connected to a driving crank mechanism (13). In the region of the web (5), the working chambers (27, 28) communicate at the inlet (6) and at the outlet (7). In the majority of their circumference, the displacer (8) and the delivery chamber (4) have a pure circular shape. In an angular range of at most 20 DEG , the inlet and outlet ends of the displacer and of the delivery chamber have considerably smaller radii of curvature than those of the majority of their circumferences. <IMAGE>
