[origin: EP0362480A2] The invention relates to an accounting and collection method for coin-actuated machines and an arrangement of these machines for applying the method. A counter is provided which records the amounts of money accumulating. A predetermined number of machines is connected to a moneychanger for a group. By means of the play operation in the machines, accumulating, excess, unsorted coins are first fed to the moneychanger and, when its desired filling with sorted coins has been achieved, to a coin treasury. It is possible for at least one sorted preferred coin type to be fed to the moneychanger and for remaining, excess coins to be fed unsorted to a coin treasury. Sorting and counting devices having at least one coin outlet which are connected to the moneychanger and the coin treasury 51 can be arranged in or behind each machine or are placed downstream of one, more, or all machines. <IMAGE>
