Die Erfindung betrifft ein von der Außenseite einer Tür oder dergleichen betätigbares Schloß (3), welches über eine Kupplungsstange (12) oder dergleichen mit einer türaußenseitigen Schließeinrichtung (14) verbunden ist, und schlägt zur Erhöhung der Einbruchssicherheit vor, daß die Kupplungsstange (12) einen Kanal (22) durchsetzt, dem eine Kanal-Verschlußbacke (28) zugeordnet ist, die sich, in Verschlußrichtung federbelastet, auf der Kupplungsstange (12) abstützt.
