Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0362624A1] A filter for a vacuum cleaner has a filter bag (1) which possesses a stiffening plate (2) with an inlet opening (3). A cover plate (5), which has a perforation (6) in alignment with the inlet opening (3) in the working position, is provided on the stiffening plate (2) and guided parallel thereto. By pulling the cover plate (5), an unperforated portion of the cover plate (5) is placed over the inlet opening (3). In order to improve the serviceability of the cover plate (5), it is of buckle-proof design. <IMAGE>
