Abstract (en)

The aliphatic primary alcohols are made to react with a glycose, in particular glucose, in the presence of an acid catalyst according to a process following given steps in such a manner that, in improved direct synthesis and after a subsequent necessary bleaching stage, particularly light-coloured and alkali-fast alkylglycosides are obtained. Said process can be carried out at laboratory level as well as on an industrial production scale.

Die aliphatischen primären Alkohole werden mit einer Glykose, insbesondere mit Glucose, in Gegenwart eines sauren Katalysators in bestimmt gehaltenen Verfahrensschritten so miteinander umgesetzt, daß in Verbesserung bekannter Verfahren der Direktsynthese und nach einer angeschlossenen zwingenden Bleichstufe besonders hellfarbige und alkalistabile Alkylglucoside resultieren. Das Verfahren kann sowohl auf Laborstufe als auch auf großtechnischer Produktionsstufe durchgeführt werden.
