[origin: EP0362698A2] Apparatus for the automatic bending of pipes and similar workpieces, having a feed carriage for moving the pipe in the longitudinal direction of the apparatus, the feed carriage being driven in a controllable manner, as well as a bending device consisting of a plurality of roller pairs for guiding the pipe, and also two slides for accommodating one bending roller each for the right-hand or left-hand bending of the workpiece, the slides being controllable and driveable transversely to the feed direction of the pipe, and also a device for the controlled rotation of the pipe about its longitudinal axis.
