[origin: EP0362830A2] In order to reduce the generation of noise when working with the cutter heads (1), the grooves (3) into which the cutters (2) are inserted are provided at an axial angle. However, the axial angle requires the longitudinal direction of the cutting edges of the cutters (2) to be produced according to a hyperboloid. But this can only be produced by expensive individual grinding of the cutter (2). For this reason, the cutter (2) is designed to be elastically flexible in its plane. The cutter (2) can thereby be bent elastically in its plane to produce the hyperbolic cutting edge. The knowledge of a person skilled in the art is not required for the bending operation. <IMAGE>
