Screen-wall or partition, also a display wall, to which display elements can be fastened in a cantilevered manner, which wall is composed of metal strip elements (1) which are provided, behind a strip surface (2a) of a central strip (2) in the vicinity of the longitudinal edges (3, 5) of this central strip, with, on one longitudinal edge (3), a receiving profile (4) and, on the other longitudinal edge (5), an insertion profile (6) which fits into a receiving profile of a neighbouring strip element, the depth (c) of the receiving profile, measured parallel to the strip surface, from the neighbouring longitudinal edge, and the distance (d), over which the insertion profile extends past the relevant longitudinal edge of the strip surface, being adapted to one another in such a manner that, in the assembled wall, between strip surfaces of neighbouring strip elements, gaps are left open, in which display elements can engage by means of their base plates (20), at least one of the strip elements being provided with a hanging strip (16), which extends approximately parallel to and behind the strip surface, and fastened to a construction (18) lying behind, which has upwardly directed hook-shaped projections (17), into which the hanging strip is hooked. <IMAGE>

Vorsatz- oder Trennwand, gleichfalls Ausstellungswand, and der Ausstellungselemente freitragend befestigt werden können, welche Wand aus metallenen Streifenelementen (1) zusammengesetzt ist, die hinter einer Streifenfläche (2a) eines Mittelstreifens (2), in der Nähe der Längsränder (3, 5) dieses Mittelstreifens versehen sind mit am einen Längsrand (3) einem Aufnahmeprofil (4) und am anderen Längsrand (5) einem Einsteckprofil (6), das in ein Aufnahmeprofil eines benachbarten Streifenelementes passt, wobei die Tiefe (c) des Aufnahmeprofils, parallel zur Streifenfläche gemessen, ab dem benachbarten Längsrand, und der Abstand (d), über den das Einsteckprofil sich am betreffenden Längsrand der Streifenflache vorbei erstreckt, derart aufeinander abgestimmt sind, dass in der montierten Wand zwischen Streifenflächen benachbarter Streifenelemente Spalte offengehalten werden, in welche Ausstellungselemente mittels ihrer Basisplatten (20) eingreifen können, wobei mindestens eines von den Streifenelementen mit einer sich etwa parallel zu und hinter der Streifenfläche erstreckenden Aufhängeleiste (16) versehen ist und an einer hinterliegenden Konstruktion (18) befestigt ist, die aufwärts gerichtete, hakenförmige Vorsprünge (17) aufweist, in welche die Aufhängeleiste eingehakt ist.
