[origin: EP0363254A1] The fusible interlining is a nonwoven covered on one face with spots of fusible resin. According to the invention, the nonwoven is a lap which is free of binder and of fusible fibres and the weight per square metre of which is between 50 and 150 g and which is produced from filaments of a thermoplastic material, especially polyester; the mean diameter of the filaments is between 3 and 5 microns, and preferably 90 % of the filaments have a diameter within this range; the intermingling of the filaments is obtained by a jet of high-pressure fluid, especially by the injection of water at pressures of 40 to 80 bars.
